About T1 (DS1 Line)
A T1 line is made of two pairs of copper wire that
carry data at a rate of 1.544Mbps. A T1 line can be used to carry 24 phone
lines or an Internet connection capable of 1.544Mb per second data transfer.
The terms DS1 Line and T1 line refer to the same thing.
